This book is an excellent overview of different aspects of the gospel including: What is the gospel?, The gospel and discipleship, the gospel and evangelism, the gospel and the church, the gospel and church planting and the gospel and leadership.
Masterplan of Evangelism - Robert E. Coleman
This is a classic book on evangelism which is now over 40 years old and has sold over 3 million copies so still very much worth reading. It has been updated and examines the evangelical principles that we can learn from looking at the ministry of Jesus.
How to Talk About Jesus (Without Being That Guy) - Sam Chan
A very practical and helpful book focussing on evangelism. It uses examples from Sam Chan’s own experience to provide ways to be more effective and more relaxed about reaching out to friends, family, colleagues and strangers with the message of the gospel.

Quotes
"We are all missionaries. Wherever we go, we either bring people nearer to Christ, or we repel them from Christ.”
(Eric H. Liddell, “Chariots of Fire” from "Crafting a Rule of Life: An Invitation to the Well-Ordered Way" by Stephen A. Macchia, Mark Buchanan)
"The kingdom of God is not just spiritual: it is personal, social, political, economic, and cosmic. Most good work in this world is a way to extend the kingdom of God and to bring shalom to people and creation. The distinction often made between spiritual work (sometimes expressed as “kingdom work”) and so-called “secular” work is both unbiblical and harmful."
from Aging Matters: Finding Your Calling for the Rest of Your Life" by R. Paul Stevens
“As with Jesus, our main focus, our mission as the People of God, is how we might express the love of God to those around us (John 12: 47).”
